The Cock a Leekie Soup

A Burns night supper usually begins with an appetizer or a soup. The most common kind of soup or traditional soup served for the supper is the cock-a-leekie soup.

The Ingredients

To make this soup you need to have the following ingredients:

4 pieces of chicken legs, 1 kilogram of leeks that are washed and sliced (make sure to include the green part), 12 pieces of prunes Various Entertainments for the Burns Supper

The Cooking

Put 3 liters of water in a pan along with the chicken legs and then boil them.
